What is a moped?

I drink more, talk bollocks, stumble around chewing bus tickets and arguing
with lamp posts.

Hondas (125s as well as 50s) seem to be a lot harder to derestrict than
their competition, it's true.

What teenagers want is a nice little Yamaha DT50, with a 65cc big bore
kit. Just like Jamie's....

 

I thought all ss50's became ss70's or 90's?

 

Replacing the exhaust, barrel and possibly the head and carb is
*tuning*, not derestriction.
And a normal moped will be a lot nippier than a lardy restricted DNA,
for anyone who wants to stay legal.

 

Actually, the 70cc conversion is easy - the entire top end just bolts
on. 90cc is next to impossible - the engines are totally different, and
you can't just do an entire engine swap as things like mountings and
casings are different too.

 

Works well for me.
