    For those that know the M10 / M1 junction what is that god *awful* pong?
    Anyone got any idea?

    Dunno, but too far from London Brick to be that (if they still exist).
    Regularly used to see people on the hard shoulder of the M1 looking
    under the bonnet of their cars for the 'burning smell' near there.

    behind the trees just before you cross over the M1 going towards it).

    Anyway, what's the source of the whiff near Membury services on teh M4.
    Sometimes it's Acetone, other times it's Hydrogen Sulphide other times
