What should I do

Just got some new tyres put on the bike today. I asked for Bridgestone
BT012 of the front and rear. Didn't check at the store but when I got home
I realized that They had put BT010 on the front and BT012 on the back.
Obviously not what I asked for.

The difference between the 2 tyres is how sticky they are, the BT010 is an
    old version of the BT012

I'm the kind of rider who is very hard on the front and usually manage to
wear out both tyres on the bike at the same time so the idea of having a
harder compound on the front kinda scares me. I wouldn't complain if they
Put a BT012 on the front and the BT010 on the back

Had anyone ridden with both the BT010 and the BT012, is there much
difference? And if so should I take the bike back and get the correct tyres
    put on.

I'de be going back to the shop and not asking but DEMANDING they put the
correct tyre on your bike for you. If you asked for a BT012 then that's what
you get. Tell them it's their problem if they're trying to get rid of old
stock and don't try and flog it off onto you. The last of the BT010's has
problems with scolloping etc as well and are just simply no where as good as
the BT012. Ride on back as soon as possible and get it rectified.

Do you think you're good enough to out-ride the 010 on the front? It might be
a slightly "harder" compound but it's not a "hard" compound. Mind you, if
it's causing you concern you might be best off taking it back and asking for
an 012... Murphy's law and all that...

Hmm No idea if I can out ride a BT010 because I have no idea how grippy they
actually are. I do the old track day if that means anything. The problem
is if I do test them out and they arn't what I want I wont be able to return
    them and I'm stuck with a $150 tyre I don't want.

Plus I don't like to mix Tyres types, and I don't like having a harder
compound on the front than the back. I'd rather the back slipout than the
    front.

Is it what you asked for? Is it what you want?

If the answer to both is "no", then take it back! otoh, if you are happy enough with it, even if you didn't ask for it,
then there isn't a problem, is there?

Take it back! That is Crap customer service, if they dont have the product u
asked for they should at least do u the courteousy of informing you before
they fit something else. So many times ive ordered something inparticular
because I wanted exactly that and some moron has taken it upon himself to
decide that something else will do, teach them a lesson and make them pay by
having to change ur tyre again and then they will also have a slightly
second hand tyre they cant sell as new and hopefully his boss will give him
    a serve!

No, **** 'em. He hasn't stuffed anyone. They stuffed
themselves by trying to offload a tyre he didn't ask
for, and now it's 'used' and unsaleable.

That doesn't mean they won't try to stick it on the
    next bike that comes in.

When I booked it in 2 weeks ago I said the type of tyres I wanted so they
would have the tyre in stock. Also when I brought the bike in I reminded
them of what type of tyre I wanted and said I had previously booked it in
and was told the tyres would be in.

Finally why would anyone want to buy a non matching set of tyres. Its just
    not done. Hmm Clowns.

On a scale from 0 to 100 where 0 is plastic tyres and 100 grip so well you
    can't even move, the BT010 is probably a 70 and the BT012 is probably 73 or 74
[1]. If your riding is that demanding that the difference between an 010 and
an 012 is going to make a huge difference then you should probably be running
    the BT012SS back and front.

It is here. I can't remember when I last had two tyres of the same brand,
    let alone the same family.
