Al Davis is *not* popular with the fans. I don't think they've had a good
fan base[1] since they left Oakland for the first time.

[1] Or a base of good fans.

Fairly crap filum, but some jolly little tunes in it. Lots of Ry Cooder,
    iirc.

  5. Sound like a good plan.
I was about to post "but you've got the cash to go" and
then I remembered the Orange Gearbox Horror.

  10. Yup. Sunday night: 7 hours of NFL. Tuesday AM - 3 hours
(taped cos I can't get it where I'm lodging).

Cheryl hates this time of year..
Ah - OK. Still an impressive nutcase.

  11. He isn't liked by anybody in the NFL..
The Raiders are the Man. United of the NFL world - most of the people
who claim to support them would be hard pressed to name their manager
    or any of the players..

'Dance music' should be prosecutable under the Trades Description Act..

Nice so you can flick through all the ads! I always forget just how many
    there are.
Claire too although this year she's finding it a nice excuse to leave me
looking after the new sprog til the early hours so she can get some kip.
We're both already looking forward to the SB!

not at all - I only picked up the book by accident in Waterstones,
and, flicking wildly through the pages, I realised I was about 20
years too young to be reading it, and it was only dumb luck that
caused #723 - on the last page I glanced at - to stick in my memory.
