That would actually be bloody good - but I start the 'new' job on 2nd
August with a major project, & I'm the critical path. So not a chance
    in hell :-(

Can't you get them to re-arrange the Manx?

D'ya know what? That's not really as stupid as it sounds. Not class 1,
but whatever class I'd need to drive one of those huge mobile homes. I
think I probably need something a bit less stressful for this
particular holiday, but early next year maybe.

The other thing I'd like to do is learn to fly a helicopter, but I'll
have to multiply the budget by 10 to do that.

If the Picos were still open, that would be a possible. But they're
not, & it's not the sort of thing you'd want to do alone anyway.
A week's totty-watching in Biarritz might be nice. Fantastic roads just
    round the corner too...

I find visualising Thora Hird works for me, especially now she's been

    a lot cheaper though.

Doesn't that make you want to grab her ears[1] & twist the left one[2]
    furiously whilst making engine sounds?

[1] Or ankles, depending on which position you're in.
[2] Or right one, depending on which position you're in.

I've never in my life had to think of something else to last long
enough. The opposite has been true on occasion though.

It's on my "to do list" once all the racing is out of the way.
Lots of the DSC guys have been recently and couldn't
    recommend it enough.

If you're mixing the two make sure you take some Sildenafil citrate as
Charlie takes the lead out of your pencil and you won't be able to bang
    the brasses.
