Considering what a group of pikeys and workshy dodgers this has become
this is a long shot.... but who provides the very best world travel
insurance policies. Gold Standard. Everything covered including pre
existing. Proper help when it goes titsup. The works.

    Anyone know?

    Gold?

    You fucking cheapskate.

https://www.direct-travel.co.uk/ have a platinum level cover

They cover motorcycle riding in their standard T&Cs and don't worry about
my pre-existing medical condition (hypertension controlled by medication)

Whether they'll cover your manky, accident prone, near corpse is another
thing, although they say they might

    I appreciate that thanks.

Looking at possessions (baggage) though - £3000 and valuables - £350

Doesn't even cover my fucking watch

    september.org:

the cheapest way to cover valuable items is to extend your household
insurance. I did this for a laptop: all risks cover, worldwide added about
    £15 to the annual premium.

  5. Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, Hog
You have a specific watch for *that*?

What, specially big buttons on the stopwatch function?

  10. Agreed. Cost slightly more than that for me, due to the value of the
    camera kit, but still.

A simple "Piss Off" would suffice.

  14. Oh yes, but:

This works the other way too.

An old geezer in a pub I drink in had a collapse ( I don't know what it
was, but it was *bad*) and was at deaths door in Madeira. The insurance
company insisted on flying him home in an air ambulance against the
advice of the doctors treating him and to the horror of the medical
people who were flown out to accompany him home. The reason cost. They
were prepared to risk his life flying him home rather than pay for the
intensive care, which could have gone on for weeks.
