    It's the Ducati way since Tamburini left. Multistradas are hideous, the
    999's not much better, & that thing... yuck.

    The 1098/1198 are quite pleasant, certainly after the 999.

    But that thing looks like "Versys by Ducati". I'll pass.

    On an entirely unrelated note, my KTM works again. What I thought was
    mind-bogglingly bad carb icing turned out to be a kinked fuel hose. Doh!

    Yeah the 1198 is gorgeous, I thought they had caught the 996 spirit again.
    As for this Diavel, obviously they are looking to diversify the customer
    base and I see a lot of V-Rods in the Europe and USA. It's clearly a far
    superior bike to the HD with a great name and it's still a V-Twin. I can
    see a lot of them being sold, not in the UK, but so few people here buy new
    bikes anyway.

    The Multistrada 1200 is also a pretty unfortunate looking beast but some
    people still buy those and the Triumph equivalent.
