What's a used Ducati 750SS worth?

I was looking at a used 750SS at a car dealer today.

03 plate, 13k miles, looks good (and red) from a distance, but up close
looks like it's been used all year round as the engine casings are
losing their finish and look pretty poor TBH. And it needs a really good
clean.

So, what's it worth?

 

It will all end in tears! To quote J P McEnroe "you cannot be serious".

 

Considering how hard it could be to move on, not over £2k. The cases
and odds and sods can be refinished professionally for around a ton.
Pay more and when it comes to punt it you either become the one looking
for an unusual buyer or swallow some bitter pills.

 

Oh I know this way pain and heartache lies, I'm just wondering what it's
worth

 

So, you haggle based on that then, after all you can clean it later and
the engine can be repainted.

What they asking for it ?

 

Don't worry, I'm not planning on buying it.
