What's it worth - Honda Hornet?

99T plate 600cc Honda Hornet in very good condition. 11k miles, and entirely
standard apart from a small flyscreen.
New front tyre , rear has plenty of life left and the chain and sprockets
are good. Oh , and it's yellow and in the midlands.

Any sensible suggestions on what it might be worth as a private sale?

Last time I had a go on a Hoonet it was worth three points

I liked the one I loaned from LCs years ago. Drank petrol like mad, poxy
small tank but a lot of fun.

Autotrader says £950 to £2195. So £750 for mates rates, £1k for a quick sale,
£1.5k for a very slow sale if you're lucky (this time of year) and £2k if you
never want to sell it.

 

I think i have my foreskin in a jar somewhere....

I fancy a change and there's something on Biketrader that has caught my eye.
Just trying to work out if it's worth buying now and keeping hold of the
Hornet till spring when prices may be on the up , or if it may be easier
just to sell it now and lose out a little.
