The unpleasant metallic noise from the front of my bike suggests that the
    wheel bearigns have had it.
Any recommendations for cheap places to order off the net? I'm a bit too
busy and lazy to go to real shops at the mo.

It's for a 96 thundercat should that make a difference.

I found this bloke on ebay doing sets of front and rear for £20 delivered.

Is this a fair enough price?

  2. Dr Zoidberg explained on 17/04/2005 :
If they are standard bearings (most are), then any local bearing
specialist would be able to supply them and at a much better price.
    Look in Yellow Pages.

Yes , trouble is I have to faff around removing the wheel , fish the
bearings out , shove the bike back in the shed minus a wheel , go to a
bearing specialist , come back , fish the bike out of the shed , and replace
    the wheel.

I don't mind paying extra to order them off the net so I can just pull the
wheel off one evening , remove and replace bearings and be done straight
    away.
