In Ozmalia, is there a legal minimum for the octane rating. Over here
in the rain the minimum permitted is 95 RON.

Or am I mixing up measurements?

Thought I already answered that - yup, 91 RON is the min. spec juice,
Premium ULP is min 95, super premium is unregulated as such but usually
claims 98 RON, you can also get an alcohol based 100RON in some places

  5. Don't forget that you need to be parked on perfectly level
driveways when filling up a car if you want the distance
travelled from a tankfull to be comparable between sites.

Otherwise the air space reserved for expansion is affected by
where the filler pipe enters the tank.

that would be true , except the rodeo fills right to the top every time for
    some
    strange reason

and most sites are fairly level

It all looks like bullshit to me.
Just went from Melbourne to Warrnambool and back today, 750 km's filled
near empty tank with BP refilled with BP twice, same economy as any other
fuel I have used in the last 8 years 320 k's per tank

It doesn't make any difference where I fill up, LPG is LPG (and
    remarkably free of contaminants!)

I only get about 6km/l though.
