It's been too, too long since I've seen you, so the latter option seems more pleasant :)
Indeed - you know where we are - and a celebration is in order!
My subscription runs to next December anyway, so I'm in no hurry, plus I'd need to use speed camera updates form somewhere else - what source do you use that is better than the paid-for TomTom service?
Not on home PC at the moment, but pocketgpsworld rings a bell... Some free site where people post up their sightings of cameras anyway.
I've spent a few minutes looking at various reviews of the Zumo 550 and TomTom Rider 2 and neither sounds ideal; the Zumo gets a slagging for its display, which isn't as good as the TomTom one, and the TomTom gets regularly slagged for (what a shocker) the crap "support" from TomTom and having a so-so mount, although I'd be using a RAM one with that steering stem doodad that a nice chap made for me in his shed. In addition, every so often there are tales of the Rider 2 leaking from new (presumably poor seal installation).
Goldwing. Built-in Sat Nav. YKIMS.
