    Hi all,

I'm buying a bike after doing CBT next weekend so I need a lid, gloves,
leathers, security, boots and probably loads of other stuff I haven't
thought of yet. Any recommendations about where to buy in the
Manchester areas? "On ya byke" on Swan Street appear to be good eggs...

    TIA

    Hein Gericke.

Can't remember where they are since they moved, though.

They've moved! Bloody hell. Shows how long it is since I've been into
    the centre of Manchester [1].

    A quick search brings up:

On Ya Bike are very good folk indeed and I would highly recommend
them. not always the cheapest but they have a very good variety.

I've been happy with everything I've bought from them.

The only thing I can fault is the female sizing - Katie can't find
anything that fits in their stores.

They are shite. I'll never buy anything from them ever again.

Wouldn't you be happy with a 16 year old car that never gives you any
    problems?

I've had one problem in 3 years - a failed clutch slave cylinder.

Given that it was 15 years old at the time, and still on it's original
hydraulics, I think we can forgive it that.

75s were bloody solid and reliable cars. I can't see me parting with
    mine, ever.
