Where to get new wheel bearings?

I have a small scooter, and I think I need new wheel bearings in the
front wheel. Any idea where I could get this done in the Cupertino/
    Santa Clara/Sunnyvale area?

    Thanks, Jenn

  2. The bearings themselves are usually a generic
size and spec and this will normally be marked
on the old bearings. The trick is to find
a shop that works regularly on your particular
    brand of scooter.

Incidentally, when you ask a question like this,
it's usually helpful to specify the make, model
and year of the vehicle which you're trying
    to get repaired.

Thanks for the reply. I don't think this will help, but it's an EVT
4000e scooter. I'll see if I can examine the wheel and find any
    bearing specs.

  4. More than you ever wanted to know about bearings.

You should also look really hard for an owner's list or
website. These are a great source of tech info. I'd
guess too that EVT could probably supply you with
the right numbers for ordering the bearings.

You'd probably still want a bearing puller or find a shop
to swap them for you, but with parts in hand, it's
a pretty generic two wheeler problem.

Yes, that is part of my question - what shops in the area would be
able to replace the bearings if I had appropriate new ones?

    Thanks again,
