I didn't find them a problem and I was there for 3 weeks and rode everywhere like it was the last ride I'd ever take. I saw two camera's, both forward facing, so no reg plate recognition and with a dark visor, no facial recognition either. Nah, just go for it and find someplace to stay when you've had enough riding for the day. -- Beav VN 750 Zed 1000 OMF# 19
Lock up your licences because I'll nick any left lying around. I'm also highly likely to clone a selection of registration numbers to assist in my subterfuge. This trip might involve hotel accommodation so are you up for it or are you going to carry on with your imitation of a feeble minded pensioner?
Around towns/citys, the speed cameras are forward facing. On the open road, its all bendy and views, its hard to speed (IMO) and enjoy it. Just go with the flow ....
A snapped plate is less likely to bring a problem and they only "show" if Plod sees it (as opposed to a camera taking pics). If you get a tug for a broken plate, a simple "It was ok when I cleaned it this morning before I set off" seems to be acceptable to Mr Plod too. (Twice I've been stopped and twice I've just been told to get it sorted ASAP). -- Beav VN 750 Zed 1000 OMF# 19
