Why does everyone else have to do something for you? Want to go for a ride -
propose one yourself and put it on the netrider.org.au events calendar.
It's always those that don't get involved that are the lonely one's.

Is it just me, or doesn't anyone organise group rides any more? There never
seems to be anything on here any more, and the events list on netrider.org
is similarly vacant.

I know that I never actually bother to go on any of the rides, but I like
the opportunity to think about it and then decide not to attend. Also, I
miss the Cranbourne maccas jokes...

 

So people don't ride in Winter? Even when we have magnificent sunny weekends
like last weekend?

I rode to Queensland last month. Didn't meet at or go to any Mcdonalds
though. The first 15 days were sunny but then it pissed down the day I left
Sydney. That gave the trip a wintery touch.

All those mentioned are clubs. So go and join a club.

They'll publicise their own rides to their own members, and maybe hear
about other clubs.

NOt all the world is net.based....
