Where's the Spanish sense of humour gone?

    Trouble's been brewing lately. Apparently, the treaty of Utrecht says the
    sea belongs to Spain. There's been lots of (mainly good humoured)
    standoffs between the Civil Guard and the RN. Well, the RN says "**** off
    out of our sea", when they catch the Guardia Civil chasing drugs
    smugglers etc.

    Last time I was in Barcelona, the Spanish national football team were
    playing Germany(?).
    Not sure who the other side were, just suprised that all the locals were
    supporting them.

    After a while the penny dropped...

    Was chatting to a mate (and bar owner) last night. He reckons noone takes
    any notice of that shite. That paper is somewhat right of centre and we
    currently have a pansy socialist government that likes to say yes. They
    just gave 2.5 million euros to a bunch of somalian pirates for a laff.
