I know, I know. He is 19 remember, and a 33BHP sprotsbike *must* be
quicker than a 33bhp naked / retro type bike, surely

Actually it's not too bad, you've got the handling but no top end.

Yes, pretty good when restricted.

Not bad.

From what I can tell most twins (V) respond well to restricting.

 

Only when it's standing still.

 

I feel that is precisely the point.

Unfortunately a rather expensive car MOT failure this week may have
somewhat dented his plans somewhat.

My plans are all going to, er, plan at the moment. My crap car's on
ebay, the mrs has just bought herself a shed on wheels, and (subject to
a bit of haggling) I'm trading her shiny Focus in against a Leon Cupra
for me this afternoon.

She knows her place.
