I think it says his average speed is 406 - but I'm not sure of the units.
Could be feet per hour? Inches per minute. Then again I could be wrong and
it is actually an indication that he's been to the moon.

The symbol to the upper right of the 406 looks very much like the symbol for
MALE, so it could be his testosterone level?

'S funny, I find Wik's GPS to be a bit odd too. Every time I follow
him using it, I find myself on a single-track road picking my way
    through the gravel, between cowpats.

Heh, it's summat to do with GPS being deprived a signal momentarily,
just long enought that when it reestablishes the signal, it throws up
    silly numbers.

Funnily enough, only yesterday, Suze, myself and the dog allegedly did
    18.2mph on foot...

When I first took mine to France, we'd stopped at a cafe for a drink and the
GPS didn't seem to realise we'd stopped. Instead the speed increased up to
about 800mph and the map was scrolling along like mad :)

Turning it off and on fixed it.

Sounds more like a software issue than a gps signal problem. Unless going
inside the cafe blew the signal.
