They're just starting to loosen-up around the "ton".

It would've passed 250,000kms without a doubt, sold it at 180,000kms still
going strong...

It's just that the pic was taken *at* the 100,000 mile milestone.

low kilometre jap sportsbikes are mostly due to bunnies who like the look
and go and buy them and then scare the shit out of themselves and leave it
in the shed

Numerous mates of mine have bought low km discounted bikes from tools such
as these

 

Nah you do... some Harley riders spend more time polishing than riding.

I prefer to talk to the ones who ride

Really Clem ? Might want to have a look in the trading post down Sydney
way a bit.

Here's a heap of 5-10 year old Hogly's with under 10,000Kms on them (I'd
give you a url but the farked up website doesn't allow it in any easy
way (stupid javascripting) (do a search on Harley at
http://www.tradingpost.com.au and then click on the kms link to sort by
it, then page through three pages where they haven't put the Ks in)

Most ads in that list are repeated several times over.

 

Possibly, it doesn't really matter,they do exist contrary to Clem's
claim. Bottom line is people like you get to buy barely ridden bikes
cheaper heaps cheaper than new ones, and being Hoglys they haven't
exactly changed much in a couple of years. Only downside is the chrome
is usually half polished off
