Why are Harleys considered the best ?

BMW said as much before the thing was even released. It's noticeable at
parking lot speeds, or when the stupid bike rolls off the side-stand.
This is why BMW released the marketing video showing the K1200LT being
dropped without being damaged. My Ultras didn't want to fall over if
leaned a millimeter too far in either direction. YMMV, IDGASWYT, etc.,
    etc.

"Tim" seems to have a fascination with men's cocks.

Pardon me if I decline any IRL get togethers with that "person."

I'm going to guess that you're not a fan of modern dance.

Your "guess" is right on the button.

  6. First off, it's a little ironic that - in spite of what you say - you
seem to limit what you're willing to do because of what it might seem
who are joining, Keith. Yikes. That's a mighty self-conscious way to
    live!

Second... Okay, you've goaded me too far and now I'm gonna blurt out
something I probably should stay quiet about... <evil grin>

Chrome is kinda nice! I gotta admit that, when I'm washing my bike in
the back yard while my wife is washing her Nighthawk, it's such a
    difference.

I'm not one of those guys who washes his bike a lot (maybe 5 or 6
times a year, if that) but, when I do wash it, it's really satisfying.

After a wash (and, if I'm really going to town on it, a polish!), that
chrome gleams so freakin' nice, the bike is just a beautiful thing to
behold. It really is! I'll sometimes just stand there and look at
for 15 minutes after I'm done. And you know, in spite of many miles
put on it, it's as if I've returned the bike to brand new, showroom
    condition (even though it isn't).

With the Nighthawk, compared to that, washing it is almost a
disappointment. That aluminum looks like crap, IMO. Looks the same
before and after. The paint is pretty much perfect, but the bike just
looks tired and cheap - all the washing in the world won't help it.
Almost makes a guy not want to bother. It's not the pay-off that you
    get with the hog.

And, you know, if good quality chrome (not the crap some other brands
have) and a quality paint job makes you enjoy tending to your ride,
that's not such a bad thing.

And pipes? Well, I've been running shitty, stock pipes on my bike
since it was new and just put on a set of Bartels (megaphone style),
which I bought from a friend for a couple hundred bucks. We can get
into a bunch of socially-conscious/self-conscious arguments about it
but... oh, baby! Daddy like! That deep sound sure pleases my ears.
And, as long as I don't ride like an asshole in the wrong places, it
won't be a big bother to people (except nitwits with no life who will
    complain about everything anyway).

So there. I've said it. See what you've made me do? ;)

Really? What makes you think that?
Hey, you should take a look at my photos from EKIII this past summer...

Maybe you'll change you mind, and not jump to conclusions just because of a
little joking around about what it means to be a Harley Davidson owner.

  9. Damn this is boring.

I know the OP included the racing NG in his troll, but if you guys are going
to continue, can you delete the racing NG please?

    Thanks.

Well, I got dragged out to a "modern dance" event last night, and quite
frankly, I still don't know what the hell it is.

C'mon Thomas, its ok if you don't like Harleys, but don't be an idiot
    about it.

I raced against a really fast guy on a Harley 1200 Sportster in 2000, in
Championship Cup Series Mid-Atlantic region racing at Summit Point. He had no
right at all to go as fast on that bike as he did. His name was Randy, and he
had raced a Kawasaki Ninja 250 in 1999. I think that may have been the biggest
one year racebike change I've ever seen in all my years of racing and
    spectating!

Is that back on topic enough for ya?

  13. And as I have always observed, fast guys on slow bikes are still fast. Slow
guys on fast bikes are just slow guys in another class.

Yeah, and fast guys on slow bikes tend to become faster and faster guys, esp. at
the racetrack, esp. if they are driven enough.

  20. I just answered the question. I could have written about bandana
wearing people chugging along at almost moped speed.
