    Good point, well made.

And then, of course, there's KrustyUS, with his endless Jewish
Conspiracy theories, Drain Man with his ditto 9/11 drivel, some
fruitloop who bangs on about niggers all the tme, and they all seem to
x-post this crap to half a dozen different groups.

Yer welcome ;-) He's been banging on in rmt about how one should
always replace tyres with whatever was used for OE fitment, which has
caused a certain amount of polite laughter.

  9. Also, consider the price of gasoline in the US vs. "petrol" in the UK.

I can day trip up to Giant Forest and back home for less than $7.00.

If a Limey sod rode the same distance out of London and back, it
would have cost him the equivalent of $28.00, and what would he have
    seen?

    Potted palms in Bristol?

No wonder the yobs are pissed off all the time.

Heh, whilst those figures are true[1], I don't think that there are
many ukrmers that ride motorcycles because they're cheap to run. A
tank-full will do me 150 miles, and if that costs me £20, so be it.

    [1] Currently 1.10/litre == £5/UK gallon == $7/US gallon.

If that Limey started in that London and spent $7 on fuel,
he could get more culture and see more sights in an afternoon
    than you've had hot dinners.

Yeah, but it did help clear my sinus's.

Note: one really shouldn't belly laugh with mouth full of coffee and
plugged sinus's at the same time.

    Thankyou: Management

Petrol, like most things in life, costs "some money". Big wah.

Last time I did a road trip, I think I spent less on fuel than I did on
    speeding tickets. Result!
