Why the hell can't people describe their bikes accurately? (Rant alert)

    Bit harsh if he offered to fix the stanchion and deliver it back up to
    you.

    I agree, the oil leak was a bit naughty.

    My last aquisition [1] had one of those, which was left out of the
    description. He did mention it on collection, though.

    He did say he wasn't sure if the replacement leg was any better. And,
    to be frank, if someone advertises the chrome as "excellent" when it's
    *utterly* nadgered, and then offers to try and sort if *after* the
    auction, that's taking the piss, IMHO. It simply wasn't as described,
    end of.
    That's taking the piss, too. "Oh, I hadn't noticed that..." as the oil
    dripped down the cylinder fins. I mean, how can you *not* notice it?

    If it had been a matter of one fault, or the other, I might have tried
    to negotiate. Both together was out of order.
