I suspect the clue's in the title - 'Clone'.

I think the genuine ones have the same type of 'shutter' and are just as
affected by vibration so will wobble just as much.

I need to work out how to mount it to isolate the vibration.

I used to have the same problem with my old Hi-8. Using a rubber-footed
tank mount helped a bit but it was still pretty shit. I gave up trying
to sort it after a couple of cases of police using seized on-board cams
    to shaft people.

I'm gonna regret this. A bit of my commute from a while ago:

Compare and contrast from a much more expensive camera, the GoPro Hero
HD. I'm very pleased with it. I don't think the top of my head vibrates
as much as sweller's Guzzi though.

    your filtering is pathetic.

Why did you look down at that horrible gold Tigra - was there a fit
bird in the passenger seat or something?

Why thank you. Surprisingly few catch me up though.
<looks> Probably checking mirrors for a mad Darsy stylee filterer

I suspect it's because I don't wheelie to get over the mirrors.

But as any fule kno, you can't wheelie a Pan Euro.

I remember trying to catch up with you once as you passed me on
Embankment heading towards Chelsea on your TDM with Armageddon pipes. I
seriously don't think it's other peoples filtering that is slow.[1]

[1] Not seen the video. :( TTNet firewall has caught up with the latest
    youtube ip change.

    That's bad.
I only have the problem when I hit about 150kph on my bike, on both
the genuine and clone versions. You may have an issue with the cam.
When you just wander about and film, what's the result like? Maybe
your bike vibrates like a jelly? Ah, it's a Guzzi. 'nuff said.
Cable ties do the job for me. I've had the camera fixed to the wing
mirror stem, the frame next to the mushroom, the rear brake reservoir
and my lid. Never had any issues on the wobble unless going at speed
(I need to stick up some more vids on YouTube).

I've done a blog post on the differences between the two cams:

It was a quick vid and not properly done. I need to do something a bit
better than that. I'll do it tonight on the way home.

Hmm, the MD81 decided not to work on the way home. I'd formatted the card
and since then, it won't record. :-/

Have you ever noticed condensation on the inside of the GoPro housing?
I had it constantly when going up and down in altitude. Finally solved
it by taking out the gasket. I think that also helped with the road
    noise.
