When filling the battery we got when resurrecting the 9R[1] I just inverted the still capped bottles and pressed it down on the conveniently shaped holes. They were surrounded by a small lip, see - just the right size to punch through the foil and let the acid into the chambers. Alternatively, remove foil, invert battery, apply to bottles, invert combination and wait until drained. [1] Which is now sorted, I'm taking it to work tomorrow, expect something to be broken.
