At 70 quid a shot it sounds a tad expensive, but the writeups sound
    encouraging.

  3. Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique,
    typed
TOG would quite like one of those too.

I hvae used toothpaste for plastics and it does sort of work - ISTR it
    contains fine abrasives.

And 70 quid buys enough lacquer to do a lot of fly screens.

70 quid would buy a new bloody screen.

If that was true I would buy a new one. 275 quid plus P&P.

Haysoos, I've never had a bike screen cost more than 50 quid. What's it
    made from, sapphire crystal?

It wouldn't buy a replacement Vario from MRA like wot I've got on the Zed.
One that's in desperate need of a lacquering.

I've got to lacquer my headlamp lens too.

I've never had one that cost less than 90 quid. Where d'you buy yours from?

Last one I bought was an Airblade for the Bandit 1250 that was 39.99
    from http://www.bikebitzuk.co.uk

IIRC the double bubble for the GSXR was a similar amount.

That sounds about right for a double bubble but the extended screen
for my Tenere was nearer to £100. I suppose it depends on demand and
how big the screen is but I'm not sure which makes the biggest
    difference.
