Still there, and her last e-mail to me has made it through 2 PC changes
    now.

Mind you, so has Gower's daughter straddling an intruder as screen
background so I don't know quite what to read into any of it.

I keep wanting to "page" her (Windy not Sarah though now you come to
mention it) for advice on bringing up my lad.

Well, if she is still of this earth then contact her. Judging by the
responses from everyone else you all liked her so why let it go?

Get everyone to e-mail her and let her know you are all thinking of her.

    Or is that too difficult?

I can't work out if you're deliberately being a cnut or are just too
stupid to work out the obvious.

She died on 3/3/2003. That help you to comprehend the obvious?

    Sheesh.

  10. Your first sentence hits the nail on the head, however accidentally.

I still have all my Dads E-mails - in an M$ Outlook folder - Archived:

Asking things like, when I'm going to see him next and, can he have
help with Winword, as, he was writing a book(1)

    1. I have the first chapter.

I think you will find the most appropriate thing to do when you have
    a) Put your foot in it
    b) Tried to get out of the situation but failed in a potentially offensive
    manner

    Is to
    a) Apologize
    b) STFU
