  1. Dunno. Can't find a name on it. I'll have to check. Black and red it
    was.

    Which one was it?

I'm likely to switch back to bike commuting this year and want to get
a proper all-weather suit rather than putting a one-piece waterproof
over leathers like I used to.

Is it a bad time to mention that I've just returned from Germany?

    In an estate car?

It was a German dealership. They do things *properly*, even if it'd be
considered an unnecessary expense over here.
You can do Munich in a day. A *long* day, but it's possible.
You could have borrowed the Volvo, but keep in mind that I bought the
    Golf of JackH because I wasn't that confident I'd have a trouble-free
    journy out there.

  5. Yes to all of the above, but ultimately, it still didn't really make
financial sense. Shame, but I always regarded it as a disposable bike.

    Ok. I won't then.

Not that it would've helped that much as I was in Baden-Baden and I
doubt CN would've recovered the bike that far.

Is it a bad time to say I'm going down through Germany in a week and
    can give anyone a lift.

I only dip in an out. Rather like the OP it seems.

Oggers picked up one of those dead cheap, iirc. Free troosahs.

Of course, with no 3rd party to claim from, my Master V suit has now
    cost £1350.

Nah, mine's the previous version, Cruise (not II) GTX. Astonishingly
good though, and only £350 quid delivered.
