  1. I might miss you then. I've been given the day off on Friday so will
be leaving much earlier with the idea of reaching Mildura sometime
    that day
Well I agree with that. What I meant was if I didn't get there on the
way over it wasn't a disaster as I could go there on the way back.

I saw a Mighty Boy on the western ring road a year or so back... driving
lights on the bumper and a roofrack with a string of spotlights, running
lights down the sides, at least a dozen tail lamps, but the best bit was the
two fat truck exhausts rising from the ute section behind the cabin. Don't
know how it looked during the day but it was impressive lit up in the middle
    of the night.

Leaving from where? Wagga? 700km to Mildura should only take 5 hours, at
the speeds you can do on those empty roads... but petrol and stretch
stops probably another 3 hours :)

If you're in Wagga, I could pop over on Thursday evening and we could
leave together any time on Friday, if you could bear putting me up...

'SOK, not up to you. Since I planned to stay over somewhere on Friday
night, I might just as well lob into a pub or van park in Wagga on Thursday
night, and ride all day Friday... let me try once again to entice some
    mates from here and Sydney...
