    Hi

Getting first bike soon. It's a CBF 600 ABS. Just not sure as to whether
to get the half fairing or not.

    Any opinions welcome.

    Cheers

All depends on how you're gonna use it. If you'll be doing loads
of high speed commuting or touring then stick a plastic dustbin
on the front. Otherwise just enjoy your new love in it's purest
form, bugs in ya teeth and occasionally being blown off the seat.
    Much more fun IMHO.

I've had bikes with and without, I prefer with.

Without faring, it'll keep you more aware of the speed you're doing.

Depends on how tall you are IME. I'm 6'1", and suffer almost as badly
with a fairing as without. Indeed, I have got the wettest while riding
bike with a fairing - even on a K100 and an FJ.

It's much easier on the wrists and arms with a fairing though.

You want a *proper* fairing, you do.
I find the blackbird the worst of the three in this respect.

Yes, although I don't like the vision using a taller fairing, and a
medium fairing seems to direct the air across the top of the lid,
causing poor vision from buffeting. A small fairing simply directs the
air at my neck and chest.
I thought they looked better than the FJ. Obviously not.
