For the last few fortnights the RH indicator on the scoot has failed
to latch, requiring continuous thumb pressure to indicate right.
In a fit of misguided enthusiasm I removed the obstructing plastics,
removed the LH switch assembly, and opened up the patient.

There, to my confudddlement, I find the guilty party - a hibernating
ladybird obstructing the pingfuckits. Minor surgery was performed
to evict said beastie, only to discover that the the tiny screws had
only a tenuous grip into the plastic^Hcheese and that reassembly was
    futile.

30 quid to the usual online store and a complete assembly should
    arrive tomorrow. GRRRRRRRRR.

Never heard of super glue and baking powder? Fill hole with baking powder, a
drip or two of CA and you're back on the road.

    About a penny.
