woohoo, I'm officially local!

I'm moving to a house just off Grizzly Peak, which even I as a ba.newbie
have discovered seems to be the gateway to lots of fun roads. My
initial explorations seem to indicate that Pinehurst/Redwood Road has
the highest giggles-per-mile in the immediate area, any better
    suggestions for local loops?

Of course, this presumes that I can actually afford gas now, which after
buying a house at these bubblific prices is possibily an optimistic
assumption. Good thing ramen noodles are 6/$1!

Are you kidding? ....CA is lousy with local loops.

If you shop around, they'll go on sale for 10/$1.

  5. Sure, but I meant hour-diversion-on-the-way-to-work local loops. Not
that I'm unwilling to "Work From Home" (*cough*) some days. Time to
reinstall the Autocom setup. Hopefully the boss will just think that
windy roaring noise is just a bad connection...
Will do. One tried to off himself under my tires on Wildcat Canyon Road
the other day. He was riding without hands and drinking water, must
have hit a bump because he suddenly made a 45-degree turn towards me
while I was passing him. Eep!

  12. Suck. Sorry to hear that.

I'm having a hard time figuring out what happened from your pictures.
You were on a curve over the double-yellow; how did the car enter the
picture? I don't see any intersections, so I can't imagine where they
were coming from. Were you passing them? Since you say that they cut
you off, I'm assuming they weren't peacefully coming in the opposite
direction in their lane. If they tried to hit you, that's assault,
    isn't it? Ant witnesses?

Perhaps a wrong assumption! Note the comment, "Yes, I was over the
    line, oops!", for pic #78.

Whatever, I hope your cajones have dropped again, Paul, and everything
is almost back to normal. Thnx for the museum pics. Are you going to
finish labeling the rest of the bike pics, as I'd like to know about a
couple, like what appears to be a dohc Jawa. Guess I'm gonna hafta
make a trip to Solvang, myself.
