Can someone direct me to the website that had a lot of motorcycle workshop
    manuals in downloadable forms.

Can't figure out how this R65 OEM steering damper is meant to fit to the
    frame.

Is it likely to be the same as on an R60/6 ?

Not according to my HBOL. Friction on /5, hydraulic on /6 (also option
    on /5).

Does this help (also schematic for damper)?

I'm guessing there should be a ball joint mounting on the frame. Seems
to be a log shown on that schematic.

The HBOL photo for the /6 only shows the yoke end mounting
    unfortunately.
