World Carfree Day, 22nd September

    Did you read the article in Drive today too? :)

    Surely this organisation would have to rate motorbikes pretty high up in
    their "alternatives to cars" list. I mean, public transport is not an
    option for a lot of people, and neither is cycling or walking for those
    who live too far away from work, clients, etc. In these cases
    motorcycling is quite a valid alternative and has many environmental
    advantages over a car.

    If worldcarfree is a reasonable organisation, then I can't see how
    they'd say motorcycles were against the spirit of the event.

    Well, according to the adverts, Carefree IS the brand to use if riding a
    bike.
