I'd pay to see that and I'd put a bet on Rossi to win.

Although.... doesn't this month's 'Bike' mention something about the
Ferrari Rossi last tested being quite an old spec. car with fairly
significantly better performance than the 2006 spec. cars everyone else
    was using?

Are you suggesting I am just the kind of sad **** who not only reads
Bike but takes notice of what is in there? Careful laddie, you and I
could fall out. I should just like to add that my sexuality is not in
doubt as I don't even know what the magazine looks like.

I work in a shop selling magazines. It sort of makes sense to read
them.... after all, that what our 'customers' do.

Results from the Bahrain suggests around 2 secs / lap - this year's pole
would have been 15th on last year's grid.

Would be quite interesting to see what a bike-riding F1 driver could do
on a bike, certainly. Don't know of anyone in F1 who's really into bikes
these days, not since Damon Hill retired, anyway.

Probably not allowed- their contracts will stop them doing
'dangerous sports' (which may include tennis). Apart from
    sponsor-authorised PR stunts, of course.

Did Senna do anything much on a bike? There was a Ducati 916
named after him, and attempts to Google on it just turn up
endless references to that, plus assorted "limited edition
    collector's item" tat.

I thought Schumacher had a go on Rossi's bike at some point?

And was about 20 seconds slower or something.

Tamburini (the 916 & MV designer) was good mates with Senna, hence he
did the limited editions as a tribute after Senna died.

    Do you read 'Good Housekeeping"?

Can you recommend a hardwearing sofa?

The one Champ sold me is almost worn out and the big leather one I've
    got is just, well... blue...
