I like WorldWind, but the maps aren't nearly as detailed as those
    supplied by Google Earth.

Have to agree, there's reasonable coverage of everywhere, but have you
zoomed in all the way on Google Earth to London, Paris or Miami.

Try using 3D buildings in Miami, amazing. Or the 3D fly through of the
grand canyon. Google earth wins hands down for me, just hope they
manage to get everywhere on earth photographed in their aimed 2 years!

Oh, and google moon is funny if you zoom right in...

Will you _please_ learn to quote (and snip) when posting here? I've
even shown you how in t'other thread. This is _important_ if you want
    to stick around here.

Zan. We're going to have to have a little talk about this whole
posting lark. You're going to upset the horses.

You're going to upset the horses.

You are a patient lot, sorry. I think I have it now. I posted here
prior to reading the other replies.

I can ride better than use this, honest.

You are very accommodating. Most newbies would have told UKRM to ****
off and flounced off by now.

There's 'detail' but but I can't see any roads. Has NavTeq mapped it?

I've just taken a few example shots, which may or may not be
    useful/interesting.
