I'm not too sure myself, tbh. One minute I was trundling gently a long lnae 1 of the A13, next thing I've been hit from the left, and pushed (there was no suggestion of turning away) into lane 2. At which point the front tucked, and I was sliding alongside the Blackbird.
Closer inspection of wounds and clothing suggests I didn't let go when the bike went over. I'm only sore on one side (excluding the finger), and the toes were abraded after the trainer wore through, not after it came off (which it did after the laces were worn away.) I reckon my foot was on the peg and the wear came from the weight of the bike bearing down on top of it. The little toe hasn't been skinned, it's been chamfered at 45 degrees. Pretty it's not. It doesn't hurt though, and socks go on easily enough. Don't know about shoes yet, which could be fun tomorrow. I suppose the old trainers should fit. :) The whole left side of my arse is one BIG bruise, which is spreading down my thigh to meet the one spreading up from the knee. The side of the lid is cracked in a crescent around the flip mechanism, maybe four to five inches in length. (The white swoosh in the photo I posted.) My right hand is still twice as big as the left, but is giving no pain, providing I remember not to try to pick stuff up with it. The jacket, as shown, has gone right through at the shoulder, but the armour didn't move, and it would be perfectly serviceable other wise - if not 100% waterproof. All in all, I reckon I got off quite lightly. <attention seeking drama queen = off>
