Riding in that wind was real hard work :) I hope managed to cope with that
    strong wind.

I had to be careful about how I stand-up the bike and avoid high bridges.

U all ride safely, now ;-)

Shit, I just did a search on LED motorcycle lights and windfalls came up
(Xellite). Does her hubby still trade in these.

I thought of Windy... stupid sentimental sod that I am... She rode
some smooth lines that girl, a real biker. Prolly telling the big G to
    F*ck-off as we speak.....

Dunno, but did you post the other day about BMW R80RT crossover pipes,
or summat? A cheaper alternative to a collector box... Please tell me
more, are you speaking from experience? And damn me if I haven't lost
tail light, instrument lights and side light... fuses all OK, bet I've
got a dodgey connector somewhere... :-(

    http://www.keihan.co.uk/bmw.html

I fitted new intermediate pipes to the RS, the ones between the headers and
the silencers. The standard BMW part is a single piece with the collector
box in the middle, keihan can provide two seperate pipes with a straight
crossover piece replacing the ugly collector box which is of course much
    cheaper.
Motorworks/Motobins can sort it out, they charge the same as the direct
    price.

Don't call the 0800 Motorworks number, it's a call answering operation and
they haven't got a clue. The 0870 number takes you to the guys who know.

Muchas gracias amigo... Now all I've got to do is get the rusted on
old silencers off... I suspect that this will involve hacksaws, angle
grinders, welders, drills and taps... Oh and of course, a lot of time,
    ho hum.....
