The depth they're forecasting is increasing by 5cm every hour! It was
only 10cm at first, then 15cm...

I've just pointed out to my dear client that I'm not planning to wander
into their offices on Friday. I don't even want to know what it's going
to be like if it really snows.

    Crazy, innit.

Over the last few months while I was in London it was always warmer down
    there, very noticeably so.

Now, it is positively baking at around 5 degrees by 0830 in the mornings
    up north.

Excellent. I need to get some practice in on the Tenere.

It was sufficiently cold this morning [1] to put the liner back in my
    jacket.

The HG Pathans got an outing, too.

[1] 2 degC, according to the display on the 13's dash.

The snow falling now is starting to settle.

    Glad I'm working from home.

Blimey! I always thought that the "RTB vs PFF" threads were meant to
    have finished back in October!

We had a tiny bit settle earlier, but it's pretty much all gone now.

I'm off out cycling later, I must remember to put on my winter shorts.

Winter shorts? Bugger that, I've been in overshoes, shorts, tights,
base layer, softshell, hardshell, beanie and helmet for months.

I'm not fussed what happens with the weather so long as I can get to the
Barbican tomorrow for Spiritualized and the west end on Saturday. After
that I'm happy to be stuck at home until April.
