The venere website is good for finding italian hotels.
We stayed at a tiny traditional hotel in the centre of Monza, the 'Fantello', years ago, on the Milan and back in a week by Nordwest trip. Not expensive with rather run down rooms, but the food was very authentic. We also camped on a site right next to the circuit one summer.
