    OI!!! I resemble that remark!

I didn't buy the thunderarse 'cos I liked the look of the
    beak.

G, wobbly, incompetent, happy. Any questions?

What are you saying here: that gNat might not be my genetic offspring?!!?

    [looks at gNat's face]
    [looks at own melon head]
    [looks at gNat's "form"]
    [looks at bloated, stoop-shouldered, self]
[goes and check gNat's birth certificate]

    Now waaaiiiit a minute!!!

And the last time we were on the track[1] together I kicked your arse[2] so
that proves BMWs are better than YZFs!!
    Clem

[1] Well you couldn't call the goat-track out of the Karuah campsite a
    "road".
[2] "Kicked your arse" means waved weakly while trying to keep up with the
tide of GSs that were flooding past.

There's other reasons. I'm too old and too jaded/clouded by the
gubmint's "speed kills" mantra (and the "I'm too young to die" idea)
to derive a great deal of pleasure from the whole adrenalin
thing. I've been there, done that, got the t-shirt insofar as
most of the stupid shit goes in assorted small 4 cylinder datsuns,
so I've no particular need to translate very much of it to two
    wheels.

I'm mostly deleriously happy to be riding something that (1) goes
fast, (2) looks suitably imposing[1], and (3) I'd "have to ride that
over a land mine or a hole made by one"[2] before I'll fall off it,
and (4) gets me to work in the morning in record time[3], and
    (5) pulls chicks[4][5][6][7]

As Cam (and anyone else who's been stuck behind me on the Old
Road) will testify, I can't ride the thunderarse for shit, but
I've still got one of those BSEGs that I can't shift.

G, wobbly, incompetent, CRFS, adrenaline free, but still with a
    big shit-eating grin.

[1] Its not called 'thunderarse' for nothing
    [2] (IK, #ausmoto, 2004)
[3] two wheels good, four wheels bad
[4] I have to take bookings!!! I had to buy 'XS' *and* 'S'
    spare helmets! <grin>
    [5] Don't tell SWMBO!
[6] No, wait, she knows already
[7] Case in point, I pulled a chick with my thunderarse today,
if it wasn't pissing down bloody Melbourne weather right
    now, why....[5][6][8]
    [8] No, really she does!
[9] there is no [9] /* wash, rinse, repeat */

With respect John, you've mispelled 'Milo tin'.

G, you've gotta be made of Milo

Eh; are you saying someone's actually ante'd-up their hard-earned [sorry; I
thought I was in an episode of "Minder" there for a moment Guv'] or is it
just that people think V-Rods are a good idea .....
....like I think the Benelli Tornado is a good idea......

Well, the SV650 is bland.... Look at the people who buy them ;)
They are the Hyundai Elantra of the bike world.

    I said 'ace', not 'cat'.

    I said 'ace', not 'cat'.

    (YZF1000 == 'thunderarse'
    YZF600 == 'thunderpussy')

I bought the 1000cc version to make my penis larger. What's this
'top speed' malarky all about then?

    G, self-deprecating 'biggus dikkus'!

I'll be buggered, no-pun-intended, if I'm gonna flop it out

Ahh; you were talking about "here" as being an actual physical place
    instead of "here" being "aus.moto"...
Kind of like some type of weird "actual reality"....
Wow; funky concept!! (I doubt it'll catch on though!)
