WTB - first car for 17yo daughter[1]

    IMHO, as cheap as poss for the 1st car. If my own experience is
    anything to go by [1], she's almost bound to bump it in the first
    couple of years of ownership.

    Online, would it be difficult for someone else to renew it?
    I'm not suggesting that it was a gift as such, but wonder if, on
    occasion, it might be possible for an error to occur and you could end
    up with a surprise tax disc.
