    Postie's go for stupid money!
You'd find a small non-postie bike or scooter around for cheaper.

The abbreviation of "Postie bikes" (Or Post Office bikes if you'd prefer).
Sheesh; you'll be picking on Bol D'Or's next!

    "Dubious" is sufficient.

I thought obvious. I figured that out from the original post. But hey,
I thought putting the apostrophe in was being pedantic. Not putting it
in is, of course, an error. :)

So if you have 2 vehicles made by Ford, you have 2 Ford's by that logic.
    There's no contraction, a word's being /removed/. Sheesh you'd think I
would not need to educate you people in pedantry.. regardless of whether
there was the word bike in the sentence, or accidentally left out.

Hardly, the plural of Ford would be Fords. The plural of posie bike,
would be postie bikes and abreviating that to postie's I find to be
quite acceptable and differentiates it from posties, the people who
    ride them.

You're just trying to make Clem out to be wrong, ad you made a poor
choice of example. Anyway, that is entirely his job, he doesn't need
    your help to be wrong.

True, knobless clem needs no assistance at all to be wrong
especially when he rides one of your " posie bikes "
