You can go off people you know.

I was squeezing the brake lever earlier.

You are this -><- close to cackling. FFS, scrap it before you've got
seven cats nesting in the airbox and the whole place smelling of wee.

So the sitting on it and talking to it and stroking the handle bars is
    bad yes?
That's the house not the garage...

Haven't you anything better to do than sit there making sensible
    suggestions ?!

    a) there's no yam dealer near me
    b) i'm at work
    c) I do everything via mail order, and delivery on a screw is likely
    to be prohibitive
    d) Someone might have one they don't need in their box of bits

    Cheers,

    P.

ITYF it's the same Nissin master cylinder as fitted to a huge number of
Suzukis, Yamahas and Triumphs too. They just have different coloured
levers with the span adjuster in slightly different position and with a
different knob. I'm being serious here, the bolt for yours may well be
    the same as a ZX6Rs.

O arse, so I didn't need to get the lever from the US then. Getting
them in black is like Hens Teeth :)

Ok than, have a delve. I don't have any spare M/Cyls here at all.

Plenty of rusty honda pivot bolts.

I haven't any new bike bits at all really, I tend to buy what I need
as and when. The only spares I have are for bikes past and present
    IYSWIM.

Adie, don't panic, my real friends on the FJ forum have just put one
in the post for me ;)

For the record : 35mm long, 7mm dia pivot barrel, 12mm threaded
section with an M6 shouldered nut.

Thanks a lot in any case.
