you ever balanced the carbs ? Is that 'Special tool' really needed ?
My engine is the 900F version. 1985. Is it needed for that version ?
I've just done it without the tool and all seems to be OK, the engine
is running better and ticking over sweet now

    Thanks

That will be a bikini fairing job then ?
    Mine is a '92 900F jobbie
never done the balance myself , it gets done at the service, or £15 on the
rare occasions I need it doing as a one off.

No idea it's just the engine I got :)

I wish, I need to do the tappets and there shims so it's measure them
send off for them, return them as there bound to be wrong, wait ask
where they are, wait, then fit them.

So, you have an engine and you tune it and balance the carbs. Are you ever
going to attach it to he rest of the bike ?
My tame mechanic has a stock of them. He just slides them in when
required. Why are you making life hard for yourself ?
