Stationary traffic from Tower Hill all the way home, took ~1 hour to
cover 5.3 miles, including a visit to the chippie.

on a fag, Ride Of The Valkyries blasting out of yer new Polks, stood
up on the pegs hollering "Get out of me fuckin' way! Emergency pie
mission running here!".

I see him - as the bit of traffic he's stuck in draws level with the
chippy - abandoning ship, leaving the Wing ticking over on the sidestand,
"Stairway to Heaven" on the stereo, our hero blends into said health-food
emporium, returning shortly with a mega-pie supper and something for the
cup-holder. Off he bimbles through the traffic, flip-front erect, making
gentlemanly progress and nourishing the inner man...
