some game, without it starting here too.

pair of contra-rotating cranks.

Today we mostly ...

beat the Australians in the 4 x 400 relay

and took the ashes in some game called cricket

as to football ? sorry, no idea

Like I'd know that! The only sport I saw today was two Red Bull drivers
trying to stitch up Button, & both getting their arses handed to them
on a plate. Whiney Webber's come uppance was particularly satisfying
after his '<blub> <sniff> but I had the inside line, it's *so* unfair
<bwaaaaa>'.

 

Well, over the past few days, there's been an athletics event

its called the world championships - bit like the olympics without the
rings and the media

one of the one foot in front of the other events is the 4 x 400m relay

still with me ?

Well, we came second , which means we got a silver medal

which I thought was not a bad result

and that was one better than the antipodeans
.... and then we did the same in the cricket

Prolly better than we did in the yodelling championships, which might be
more your territory

I have to say I'm surprised. I always thought the Aussie's were quite
humourous and not particularly easy to upset. When Stoner started throwing
the dolly from the pram, I thought he was more or less a "one-off".
