    what the **** happend,

I had to go out afta the end of the first 'race' to come home to hear
commentators sating that the first 1/2 of the race before it was
stopped, is not to be counted?

or did I get that wrong?

A few nasty crashes in the 125s so they stopped the race.
There was some confusion but then they re-started and ran 13 laps
winner-takes-all (no aggregate times or half points).
They do that in MotoGP now too.

They closed the pit gates early (by some reports) catching front-runners
Barbara and Lorenzo who then had to start from the back giving other
front-runner Dovizioso the race on a platter.

Thanks for the SPOILER, ya fuckin ignorant ****.

If you'd been watching the races this year, you'd know that restarts become
the race, as in the 6-lap motogp race earlier this year.

  7. Which, if the commentators got it right (which is by no means certain)
the new "the restart _is_ the race, no aggregate time bullshit" rules
are only supposed tpo apply to MotoGP, and the 125 and 250 races are
still supposed to be decided on the aggregate time of the two halves...

If Locatelli had beaten Dovizioso home by less than the 2 seconds lead
Dovizioso had in the first half, you can bet it would have been lawyers
at ten paces immediately after the race...

That rule has been, up until now, for the motogp class only. The 125's have
long since used the aggregate time rules.
