For those who like pictures of broken bones, I got a copy of some of
my x-rays today, so added them to my blog

    X-rays are cool.

For some reason, I thought you'd broked the tibia properly, not just
    cracked it a bit.

Blimey, looks like a B&Q end-of-line bin. Probably have to anglegrind
that lot out. Or an air chisel.

  5. Man, that's rough. Must've been borderline as to whether they could pin
it or not, for that's about the same as mine.

    Properly?!?!

It's known as a "tibial plateau" fracture apparently. When the tib
meets the knee a bit sharpish. Big screws, ain't they?

Heh... I meant that I thought you'd needed a nail down your tibia.
Although I did wonder how you'd managed to break your tibia and not your
fibula; I guess that explains it.
    Yes, dear. Very impressive.

I am a noted wuss when it comes to matters medical, and I also have no
    willpower, so I looked.

    I now feel slightly unwell.

I hope you're proud of yourself.

    I'll be OK.

Save the hugz for when I really need one.

Ow. Tell me, do they expect that the pieces of the femur will re-align
themselves as they heal? Otherwise it's gonna be a very odd shape.

They said that to me, after 10 years I had it removed.

I feel your pain with going the see the vet every six weeks in the hope
they will give you good new, after the third or fourth time it does get
    you down.
Only for the first few years, then the arthritis in the knee starts.
