No, you're going to need a planishing hammer and some filler for that.

Apparently so! I'm not sure how, either, but the consultant was
    pretty sanguine about it.

My pleasure. Great to see you on the mend.
You did look a bit paler than usual and slightly yellow/sallow so do
take care Bond. Especially of the diet.

Are you taking a lot of antibiotics? if so google for something called
FiveLac to counteract the effects on your gut fauna. Considering the
healing you are doing taking MSM and glucosamine daily would also be a
sound idea (Kim et al. 2006).

Without trying to sound like a homeopath I've had a lot of respite from
joint pain and problems since starting on this a couple of months ago.

I've been eating pretty well since I woke up in hospital, to be
honest. And I'm eating more veg than usual, just to be sure.
Not taken any antibiotics since hospital. I am taking a regular
    general vitamin supplement.
I'm not really in any pain. Just got a bit of soft tissue damage
around the neck and shoulders which is a bit ache-y occasionally.

So you fucked up while doing something risky.
So you broke a few bones.
So you have to recover and have *only* your boring self to talk to.
